Part-time Therapists
COUNSELING PROGRAM: The Wendt Center offers unique opportunities for experienced clinicians to practice and expand their clinical skills and give back to the community. We seek DC licensed therapists with experience in grief and trauma to work with clients of all ages who have been impacted by the loss of a loved one through death, life-threatening illness, a traumatic event and/or exposure to violence. Our counseling services are offered in three sites: NW, SE or NE. Positions for individual and group therapy are available. Openings are for day and evening hours on weekdays and wide open on weekends. Part-time Spanish Therapist
The Wendt Center is seeking experienced Spanish Speaking Therapist at their Northwest and Northeast offices in Washington, DC. Candidate must be licensed in DC with experience in grief and trauma. The candidate will work with clients of all ages who have been impacted by the loss of a loved one through death, life-threatening illness, traumatic event, and/or exposed to domestic violence. Openings are available for day and evening hours during the week and weekends. Child and Family Therapists
The Wendt Center for Loss and Healing, a bereavement and trauma center, is currently seeking two DC licensed, experienced child, family and adult therapists to join our non-profit organization. These staff positions will provide counseling services to children, teens, adults and families at our Northwest and/or Southeast sites; supervision of graduate clinicians; crisis response and education and training in the community; and group therapy services in the office and occasionally in the community. The clinicians MUST have a DC license (LICSW only), a minimum of 4-6 years clinical experience in trauma, grief and loss, including crime victim issues, and experience working with diverse client populations.
