Introduction
Our group therapy provides a place for people to express the many emotions associated with grief in a safe, supportive and confidential environment. Each individual has a unique experience of grieving and is encouraged both to share his or her views and to honor the views of others. Licensed professionals facilitate our groups for individuals and families dealing with these issues. Facilitators use talk and art amongst other modes of intervention based on the ages and dynamics of the group.
Our group therapy services are offered to educate and guide community members through the processes of loss and grief as they pertain to each individual. If you, or someone you know, may be interested in a group, please contact the Center's main office at (202) 624-0010. We are here to help you. Click here to view Grief Therapy Groups Spring 2008
