Tom Brokaw is an internationally renowned and award-winning journalist, television host, best-selling author and Special Correspondent for NBC News. Brokaw has spent his entire distinguished career dedicated to journalism. Brokaw has established himself as an influential journalist in every aspect of the field. Spending his entire career with NBC, he has served as a White House correspondent, host of Meet the Press and the TODAY Show, and now serves as head anchor of NBC Nightly News with Tom Brokaw. He has also gained notoriety for reporting on over thirty documentaries as well as releasing a host of best-selling novels. Brokaw has won every major award in his craft, including Peabody, Duponts, Emmys and lifetime achievement recognition. In November of 2014 Brokaw was awarded the Medal of Freedom by President Barack Obama, the highest civilian award. Brokaw’s national and global impact has cemented him as one of the most influential journalists of our time.
Andrea Mitchell, Emcee
Veteran chief foreign affairs correspondent for NBC News, Andrea Mitchell is also the host of Andrea Mitchell. She appears regularly on Nightly News, Today and Meet the Press, along with Hardball, The Rachel Maddow Show and Morning Joe. Author of Talking Back, a memoir about her experiences as one fo the first women to cover five presidents, Congress, and foreign policy, she has received the prestigious Goldsmith Career Award for Excellence in Journalism from the John F. Kennedy School of Government. She has also been honored for her contribution to the protection of First Amendment Freedoms, and chosen by the Society for Professional Journalist for their Lifetime Achievement Award.
