Watch some bunnies.

This video is an hour long. Nothing bad happens. Fair warning the video does have piano music if that kind of thing bothers you or if you're in a meeting right now. Pause before you click the X or it will keep playing.

Sing your favorite song.

Can't think of a favorite? Try one of these:

Singing regulates breathing, but also keeps your brain occupied.

Find the colors of the rainbow.

Look around, wherever you are. Find something:

Red

Orange

Yellow

Green

Blue

Indigo

Violet

Which was the hardest one? Did any surprise you? Does anyone know what color Indigo really is?

Drink some water.

We know, it's cliche.

Do it anyway.

Try something hotter or colder than you'd normally drink, maybe add some ice.

Add a dash of lemon juice, or a pinch of sugar.

Notice how it feels in your mouth and throat as you drink it.

Let's get our bodies going.

Whether you’re holding some nervous energy in your body or noticing difficult emotions, it can help to get moving. Try standing up and stretching, or doing a few jumping jacks, or giving your hands a good shake. If you can, take a walk to another room, or even do some gentle yoga! It doesn't have to be a marathon to count—any movement helps.

Wash your hands.

Start by turning on warm water and wetting your hands. Notice how the water feels—are some areas more sensitive or numb?

Add soap and lather your hands—fronts, backs, between fingers, and under nails. Pay attention to the smell and how it feels on your skin.

Rinse your hands, imagining the water washing away stress and tension.

Finish with some lotion—your hands do so much for you, and they deserve care too.
