The Wendt Center’s flagship service is office-based therapy, which has expanded to include teletherapy as a permanent offering since the COVID-19 pandemic. Therapy services are available in-person at our metro-accessible Northwest D.C. office or virtually via HIPAA-compliant Zoom for Healthcare. We provide individual therapy, group therapy, and in some cases, clients participate in both formats.
Who can do therapy at the Wendt Center?
- Residents of DC, Maryland or Virginia
- 5 years or older
- Have experienced the death of a loved one, or a trauma that is causing you significant distress
Please note, we do not complete Intake or respond to inquiries from third parties seeking therapy on someone else’s behalf unless that person is a minor and you have legal medical decision making authority for them.
What are your hours?
We schedule services Monday through Friday via teletherapy.
In person services are available Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
At this time we do not offer sessions on weekends – either in person or via teletherapy.
