A short film by the Wendt Center Ensemble as part of Voices of Now.
Voices of Now (VON), a collaboration between Arena Stage and the Wendt Center for Loss and Healing, is proud to present TIME STAMP, an artistic expression of grief as experienced by the young artists in the VON program.
VON brings together grief and trauma therapists from the Wendt Center with theatre professionals from Arena Stage to work with young people who have faced the death of a loved one. VON is a vehicle that helps these young artists process and learn from the death they have experienced.
In TIME STAMP, this year’s grief ensemble’s production, young artists grapple with difficult issues and share their insightful answers to these important questions:
- What is it like to grieve during a time of uncertainty or change?
- Is there a right way to grieve?
- How does grief change us?
TIME STAMP premiered on May 19, 2022, in the Kogod Cradle at Arena Stage at the Mead Center for American Theater. Thank you to everyone who participated this year.
