The Wendt Center in partnership with Arena Stage is entering its 5th season of the Voices of Now Program. This phenomenal program invites young people (12-18) who have experienced a death-related loss to come together under the leadership of Arena Stage’s artistic team and a Wendt Center therapist. Ensemble members work together to share their story, develop and write a script and perform their creation at the Voices of Now festival in May 2017.
This is a great opportunity for young people who are interested in performing, writing, and having their voice heard and honored! Rehearsals are held weekly (Mondays 5:30-8:00 pm) at Arena Stage beginning in January 2017. NO theater experience is needed!
The Voices of Now 2017 application is now closed. The Seventh Annual Voices of Now Festival will take place May 17-21, 2017 in Arena Stage’s Arlene and Robert Kogod Cradle.
