We Remember Steven Asher

The Wendt Center is mourning the death of Steven Asher, our former colleague, and longtime Camp Forget-Me-Not/Camp Erin DC volunteer. Steve died on Saturday, June 26, 2021, due to complications from lymphoma and leukemia.

Steve will be remembered as a champion of mental health support for those impacted by grief and trauma. As we mourn Steve’s death, we also celebrate a life well-lived. We will miss Steve. Our hearts are with Steve’s wife, Nina Gross, and all the family, friends, and colleagues navigating Steve’s loss.
