Anticipatory Grief Group

This is an ongoing group for adults who have a loved one who has received a terminal diagnosis. The group is primarily focused on processing the grief around the upcoming death, and is not geared towards people who are primarily looking for emotional support around the significant challenges of caregiving.

We have found that the people who seem to get the most out of group are those whose loved one is expected to die sometime in the next 9 months, but are always happy to connect you to the facilitator to reflect on your particular situation.

If you’re interested in the anticipatory grief group, please use this form to register. The top of each page has instructions in a light blue bar, and we encourage you to read them carefully!

Intimate Partner Violence Group

Currently this group is for women identifying adults who have experienced any type of abuse by a romantic partner. This includes physical, emotional, financial, and sexual abuse, among other types.

If you’re interested in the IPV group, please use this form to register. The top of each page has instructions in a light blue bar, and we encourage you to read them carefully!

DMV Therapy Group: Navigating Loss and Uncertainty

This group targets residents of the DC area whose work has been affected by the recent changes at the Federal level, and who are experiencing grief, trauma, or a loss of identity.

This weekly group will address the emotional impact of rapid change, explore grief and trauma responses, and help participants build emotional resilience in a safe and supportive environment.

This group is being offered at no cost to attendees and will be supported by community donation.
